Terms of Service

Vedayati audits how well a website is optimized for discovery and citation by AI answer engines (a practice sometimes called "Generative Engine Optimization" or GEO). We fetch publicly available pages from URLs you submit, analyze them using a combination of deterministic checks and AI-assisted analysis, and present the results as scores, findings, and (on paid plans) citation-testing data and remediation suggestions.

The Service produces automated, best-effort analysis, not guarantees. We don't control how any AI system (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, or any other) chooses to crawl, index, or cite content, and we make no promise that following our suggestions will result in any particular outcome, including being cited, ranked, or mentioned by any AI system or search engine.

• You sign in with your email address via a one-time link — there's no password to create or remember.
• You're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since that's what controls access to your Vedayati account.
• You must be legally able to enter into a contract to use the Service, and must provide accurate information.
• One account per person; don't share login access in a way that circumvents our per-seat or per-plan limits.

You may only submit a URL for scanning if you own that site, operate it, or otherwise have the legal right to have it audited (for example, as an agency acting on a client's behalf). Don't use the Service to scan third-party sites at scale without authorization, to circumvent another site's access controls, or in any way that violates another site's terms of service or applicable law. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that misuse the Service this way.

• Free accounts are free indefinitely, with the limits described on our pricing page.
• The 7-day trial requires no payment card and automatically reverts to the free plan at the end of the trial period — you won't be charged anything without separately subscribing.
• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or annually, through Stripe. We don't store your card details ourselves.
• You can cancel any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — we don't provide prorated refunds for the remainder of a period except where required by law.
• Fees are subject to change; we'll give you reasonable notice before a price change affects your existing subscription. [REFUND POLICY DETAILS, IF ANY BEYOND THE ABOVE]

Features or access marked as "beta" are provided for testing and feedback purposes, may change or be removed without notice, and are provided without the level of reliability we aim for in generally-available features. Beta access granted via an invite code doesn't create any ongoing entitlement once the beta period ends.

The Service relies on third-party providers to operate, including hosting and database infrastructure, payment processing, and AI model providers used to analyze content and (on paid plans) test citation by AI answer engines. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' own terms where applicable. We choose these providers carefully but aren't responsible for their independent acts or omissions.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We don't warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any score, finding, or suggestion is accurate, complete, or will produce any particular business outcome. The Service is not legal, financial, or professional marketing advice.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or for non-payment. We'll make reasonable efforts to preserve your data consistent with our Privacy Policy, but data tied to a terminated account may be deleted after a reasonable period.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, by email or an in-app notice) before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
